In accordance with the order of the FSUE "Rosmorport" No. 2 dated 10.01.2017, the Remote automated radio technical post located at the West coast of the Kola Bay near the Abram-Mys settlement of the Murmansk city was put under economic management of the Murmansk Branch.

The Remote automated radio station was designed to obtain radar information about the vessel traffic in the Kola Bay and to transfer it automatically to the vessel traffic control center.

After the transfer of the Remote automated radio technical post to the Murmansk Branch, it was integrated into the united property complex of the Kola Bay VTS.

Using the Remote automated radio technical post allows to eliminate the shadow area of the VTS active zone of the Kola Bay caused by the construction of an industrial building on Abram-Mys, which ensures the possibility of control and regulation of vessel traffic at the important area of Kola Bay and compliance with all requirements for the safety of navigation.
