Information on Ust Luga Seaport Changed in Russian Maritime Register of Shipping

In accordance with Rosmorrechflot Regulation No Nzh-190-r of August 08, 2017 the changes have been made to information on the seaport of Ust Luga in the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

The corrections are linked with specifying the key technical characteristics of the seaport, in particular the maximum dimensions of ships, that are handled at Berth No 2 of the sea terminal's motor railway ferry complex in the seaport of Ust Luga. In accordance with the calculations made by order of the North-Western Basin Branch, vessels of 188.38 m in length can moor to Berth No 2 of the motor railway ferry complex, which exceeds the old parameters by 5.38 meters.

In addition, the names of separate sea operators carrying out their activities in the seaport of Ust Luga have been specified.

The North-Western Basin Branch manages four berths in the seaport of Ust Luga. The length of the berth wall is almost 0.95 km that makes up 10.5% of the total number of the berths in the seaport and 13.1% of the total length of the berth wall of all berths in the seaport of Ust Luga respectively.

Over the eight months of 2017 at least 1.8 million tons of cargoes have been handled on the North-Western Basin Branch berths in the seaport of Ust Luga that makes up over 2.6% of the total flow of transshipment in the seaport of Ust Luga.
