Upon supplying the vessel to capacity the icebreaker left the seaport of Big Port St Petersburg on November 15. The icebreaker is technically prepared for voyage with the distance of almost 3.200 nautical miles and follow-up work in the water area of Sabetta Seaport.

The icebreaker is expected to arrive at the destination point at the end of November.

The Moskva icebreaker will be carrying out the following operations in the 2017-2018 winter navigation:

Where required the Moskva icebreaker will also be able to be occasionally involved in providing icebreaker support to vessels on the approaches toward the water area of Sabetta Seaport on the routes paved earlier, including towing of vessels with appropriate displacement.

The icebreaker will stay in the seaport of Sabetta till the end of May 2018.
