By Regulation of the Government of Russia No. 1726-r of August 10, 2017 it was decided to expand the boundaries of the seaport of Vysotsk.

The expansion of the seaport of Vysotsk is connected with inclusion of a land plot into its boundaries. The land plot is intended for construction of a sea terminal for unloading liquefied natural gas near the Portovaya compressor station with the estimated capacity of up to 2.0 mln tons per year.
