Decreasing Coefficient Applied to Rates of Pilotage Dues in Seaports of Big Port St Petersburg and Passenger Port St Petersburg

The North-Western Basin Branch notifies that based on Clause 3 of Russia’s FAS Order No 711/16 of June 06, 2016 and pursuant to FSUE “Rosmorport” Order No 189 of May 23, 2017 the coefficient 0.8 is applied in the seaports of Big Port St. Petersburg and Passenger Port St. Petersburg when calculating pilotage dues for pilotage services provided to foreign passenger shipping vessels with gross registered tonnage of over 95,000 GT by the North-Western Basin Branch.

This decreasing coefficient is applied when calculating the rates of pilotage dues in the seaports of Big St Petersburg and Passenger Port St Petersburg for the above-mentioned vessels from May 4, 2017 to December 31, 2017.

The use of the decreasing coefficient is aimed at supporting and developing sea cruise passenger shipping aboard superliners and oceanic liners moving to the seaports of St. Petersburg.
