FAI “Glavgosekspertiza Russia” approved positive conclusion No. 1482-16/GGE-10751/04 dated 29.12.2016 of the state expertise of the project documentation and engineering surveys for the construction of international marine terminal to receive cruise ships and cargo-passenger vessels in the seaport of Kaliningrad near the city of Pionersky of the Kaliningrad region, as well as the positive conclusion No.1483-16/GGE-10751/10 to verify the reliability of determining the estimated value of the object capital construction project documentation.

The results of state expertise confirmed the compliance of engineering research with the requirements of technical regulations and other imposed requirements, compliance of the project documentation with the results of engineering surveys and technical regulations and other imposed requirements, as well as the accuracy of the determination of the estimated cost of capital construction was confirmed.

By project of the construction of the sea passenger terminal is expected on the basis of the existing object port infrastructure to build a complex of hydraulic and all-port facilities, including the construction of the passenger terminal building and objects crossing the state border of the Russian Federation, as well as to create objects of engineering maintenance and install navigational aids.

Execution of the project with the use of the passenger sea terminal will ensure cruise shipping in the amount of not less than 225 thousand passengers per year and the number of the port calls of 110 cruise ships per year, as well as ferry shipping in the amount of 80 thousand passengers and 80 thousand units of rolling cargo per year at 312 port calls of ferries per year.

Currently, the design and estimate documentation and results of the engineering survey is transferred to the enterprise. Аt the end of the transfer the procedures of selection on competitive basis of a contractual organization for construction of the passenger sea terminal will be carried in accordance with the established order.
