Within 24-26 of November, 2016, delegation from FSUE “Rosmorport”, composed of members from the Central Administrative Office and North-Western Basin Branch, have participated in annual conference “International Sail Training & Tall Ships Conference 2016” in Halmstad (Sweden).

The conference program covered a wide range of issues on summing up international activities that were organized by the Sail Training International in 2016 and discussing plans for 2017. In particular, the participants of the conference summed up the results of the Tall Ships Races 2016 and Black Sea Tall Ships Regattas, considered best practices for carrying safe and efficient international activities in seaports and acquainted themselves with the presentation on opportunities of the seaports hosting regattas in 2017.

Within the framework of the conference, delegation of FSUE “Rosmorport” participated in The Tall Ships Forum, during which Tall Ships Owners discussed the requirements on technical and crew proficiency who are engaged in international regattas, as well as rules of engagement in the regattas.

Delegation from FSUE “Rosmorport” in liaison with partners from Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping held a number of business meetings with seaports’ representatives, who will host regattas in 2017, concerning FSUE “Rosmorport” sailing ships participation (Mir Training Sailing Ship, Nadezhda Training Sailing Ship, Khersones Training Sailing Ship) in cultural, sporting and sightseeing activities that will be held during the regattas, festivals, parades, national and city celebrations.
