On July 1 the North-Western Basin Branch took part in the ceremonial events devoted to a professional holiday – Day of Sea and River Fleet Workers.

The opening of the festive events was held on Petrovskaya embankment of Saint Petersburg, where the traditional ceremony of laying flowers to monument “To Sailors and Founders of Russian Fleet” was held.

The ceremony of laying flowers was attended by: Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Transport Aleksey Lvov, Director of the North-Western Basin Branch Sergey Pylin, Captain of the seaport Big Port of Saint Petersburg Aleksander Volkov, employees of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch, representatives of maritime and port organizations and students of the Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping.

Within the festive events, the management of the North-Western Basin Branch presented Commemorative signs “10 years of Rosmorrechflot”, Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation of the General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport” and Director of the North-Western Basin Branch to the most distinguished employees of the North-Western Basin Branch for labor achievements and many years of diligent work.

The program was finished with a big festive concert, organized by the Saint Petersburg Government in “Oktyabrskiy” Big Concert Hall.
