In accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation on ecological expertise the municipal administrations of the Pionersky and the Zelenograd city districts of the Kaliningrad region, the area of which will be affected by the proposed construction of the sea terminal for cruise and cargo ships in the seaport of Kaliningrad, near the city of Pionersky, in the period from 4 April to 5 May held public consultations on the project documentation including the environmental impact assessment of the planned economic or other activities.

According to the decision of the municipal administrations, the public consultation in the Pionersky city district was held in the form of a survey with filling of the relevant questionnaires, and in Zelenograd city district – in the form of public hearing.

Design documents, including environmental impact assessment of the planned economic or other activities, have been duly placed in locations of common access for the people to study and prepare questions, comments, and suggestions.

Results of the public consultation in the Pioneer city district were announced on May 4, 2016, in Zelenograd city district — on May 5, 2016.
