Compulsory Regulations in the Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg Amended

By order No. 195 of the Ministry of Transport of Russia dated June 23, 2015 amendments, approved by order No. 380 of the Ministry of Transport of Russia dated October 19, 2012, have been introduced to the Compulsory regulations in the Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg.

Adjustment of the Compulsory Regulations in the Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg is associated with increase in the length of vessels, allowed to call at the seaport, from 320 to 340 meters. Underwater hydraulic facilities and berth capacity of the seaport water area allow to service passenger vessels of the corresponding length.

In addition, the Compulsory Regulations in the Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg prohibit watercraft traffic in the seaport water area.

For reference:

The North-Western Basin Branch in the Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg owns two underwater hydraulic facilities: operational seaport water area of the total area 0.85 sq. km and access channel of length of almost 1,8 km with depths from -10.6 to 11 meters, which allow to ensure safe access of passenger vessels with draught of 8.8 meters to the berths of the Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg.
