In accordance with authorization No. 39- RU39312000-SG-39/29-2015 of Rosmorrechflot dated 24.06.2015, the operational water area of the terminal complex for deep processing of oil-bearing crops, reconstructed section of the Kaliningrad sea channel on PK 209 to PK 222, as well as the reconstructed ARTP-2 automatic radiotechnical post have been put into operation.

Construction and reconstruction of the relevant port facilities were conducted by FSUE “Rosmorport” from September 2012 to May 2015 together with ZAO “Sodruzhestvo-Soya” under the Public Private Partnership project for the construction of the second stage of the sea terminal complex for deep processing of oil-bearing crops.

Implementation of the investment project should target increasing of the volume of the oil-bearing crops in the seaport Kaliningrad by 3 million tonnes per year.

Capital investments of the enterprise for construction and reconstruction of the relevant port facilities amounted to almost 530 million rubles. ZAO “Sodruzhestvo-Soya”, which directly carried out the construction of sea complex facilities in the seaport of Kaliningrad, spent over one billion rubles on the construction of the facilities.

Under this joint investment project of FSUE “Rosmorport”, an operational water area of of the terminal complex measuring area 264.2 thousand sq. m with the bottom marks of 10.5 meters has been constructed.

For the purpose of safe passage of design vessel to the terminal berths, the enterprise has also carried out reconstruction of the Kaliningrad sea channel at the section from PK 209 to PK 222. The dredging area of the channel on the border of digging amounted to 113 thousand sq. m. According to the results of the reconstruction, the navigation channel width increased to 80 m. The bottom marks were deepened to -10.5 meters, which ultimately allowed to provide safe navigation in the reconstructed section of the Kaliningrad sea channel of vessels of CH-40 Ning An10 design type with with the following dimensions: length – 185 m, width - 32.2 m, deadweight – 39 thousand tonnes and draft – 9.6 m.

The total volume of dredging works carried out by FSUE “Rosmorport” in the operational water area and on the corresponding section of the Kaliningrad sea channel amounted to more than 2.5 million m3.

In addition, in order to ensure navigational safety and create a navigation equipment system on the access to the created operational water area at the 6-th reach of the Kaliningrad sea channel, there was carried out the reconstruction of ARTP of 36 meters high and, also, two leading beacons were installed.
