Capital Construction Facility in Ust-Luga Seaport Set in Operation

In accordance with Permission of Rosmorrechflot dated 11.09.2014 No. RU77203000-AD-39/33 operational waters of liquefied petroleum gas transshipment complex with the total area of more than 150 thousand sqm and the bottom level notes of -13.5 meters are set in operation in Ust-Luga seaport.  
 
Construction of the present facility that is provided by the federal target program «Development of transport system of Russia (2010-2015)» lasted three years from November 2010. The owner and developer of the project is FSUE “Rosmorport”. During dredging in the southern and northern parts of the Ust-Luga seaport waters 931 thousand sqm of soil was removed. Total budget investments given to finance the project from the federal budget reached 940 mln rubles.
 
Realization of the project on construction of operational waters of liquefied petroleum gas transshipment complex in Ust-Luga seaport allowed to provide safe access to the berths of complex for vessels with 184 meters in length, 32.2 meters in beam, dead-weight of up to 47.8 thousand tons and loaded draft of up to 10.8 meters.
 
This year, after setting in June 2013 in operation of the liquefied petroleum gas transshipment complex, which has designed capacity of 4 mln tons, in Ust-Luga seaport, on the berths of the complex after 8 months more than 2.4 mln tons of bulk cargo (liquefied petroleum gas and light oil) was overloaded.
