     - detailed bottom mapping by means of survey;
     - detailed bottom relief mapping by means of areal inspection;
     - definition of coordinates and altitudes by means of static GPS measurements;
     - definition of coordinates of survey objects.
     The detailed mapping materials can be used for corrections of nautical charts, guidelines and instructions for navigation, as well as for dredging planning.

     The Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch has highly-qualified personnel with large experience in hydrography and geodesy, including geodesic and hydrographic surveys. Besides, the Branch disposes of marine vessels with necessary technical equipment and software, such as:

     In the seaports of Anapa, Gelendzhik and Novorossiysk
     - Sargan survey boat equipped with:
          a) Reason SeaBat T20P automated hydrographic survey complex based on a multi-beam echo sounder;
