In accordance with the Statute for the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch, approved by the FSUE “Rosmorport” order № 357 dated 12.08.2008, the principal aims of the branch are as follows:
• Creation, maintenance, operations and development of federal property assigned to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch, including the complex of assets ensuring safety of navigation;
• Execution of works (rendering services) in the seaports of Anapa, Gelendzhik, Eysk, Kavkaz, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Taman, Temryuk and Tuapse;
• Implementation of federal target programs of marine transport development.
To fulfill the set targets, the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch carries out the following types of activity, permitted by its Statute:
- Organization of effective usage of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch federal property;
- Leasing the property assigned to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch, in the established order, control over its safety, proper maintenance, its targeted and effective usage; monitoring of observance of provisions of lease contracts by lessees;
- Safe operations of hydrotechnical installations, navigation safety systems and other port infrastructure facilities assigned to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Azovo-Chernomorsky basin branch;
- Participation in development and obtaining of approvals of general schemes, feasibility studies of development, reconstruction, modernization and re-equipment of transport and technological transshipment complexes and other objects and facilities of coastal port infrastructure in the seaports of Anapa, Gelendzhik, Eysk, Kavkaz, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Taman, Temryuk and Tuapse;
- Functioning as client/developer in construction, upgrading, reconstruction and re-equipment of transport and technological transshipment complexes of the seaports of Anapa, Gelendzhik, Eysk, Kavkaz, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Taman, Temryuk and Tuapse and other objects and facilities of coastal port infrastructure;
- Technical supervision of construction, participation in operation of state commissions for choice of building sites and commissioning of port facilities;
- Repairs, modernization and building of hydrotechnical installations and other port facilities, including transshipment complexes and terminals;
- Execution of surveying and dredging works to ensure safe shipping and maintenance of declared water depths in the seaports of Anapa, Gelendzhik, Eysk, Kavkaz, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Taman, Temryuk and Tuapse;
- Repairs, reconstruction and construction of buildings and facilities for production and social purposes;
- Operations, construction and repairs of subsidiary service fleet vessels and vessels performing tasks arising from international agreements with participation of the Russian Federation;
- Repairs, servicing and maintenance of ship-borne and radio navigation and communication equipment, equipment of the global marine disaster safety system (GMDSS);
- Participation in search and rescue works;
- Participation in navigational and hydrographic support to vessels, in particular:
• providing and operating a topographic survey of general purpose in the scale of 1:500-1:10000;
• producing marine ground survey;
• coordinating the installation of various fixed and floating objects;
- Rendering all types of services, related to safe shipping, to vessels on the approaches and in the water areas of the ports, in particular:
• providing of the VTS information (including meteorological data) in the seaports of Anapa, Gelendzhik, Eysk, Kavkaz, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Taman, Temryuk and Tuapse;
• pilotage in the seaports of Anapa, Gelendzhik, Eysk, Kavkaz, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Taman, Temryuk and Tuapse;
• tugging, mooring and rearrangement of vessels in the seaports of Eysk, Kavkaz, and Temryuk;
• ice breaking pilotage in the seaport of Eysk;
• providing of safe vessels anchorage in the sea port of Tuapse;
• providing of crew boats for vessels, anchoraged on a reid, in the sea ports of Eysk, Kavkaz, Novorossiysk, Temryuk and Tuapse;
- Performing as the shipowner:
• providing cargo transportations;
• providing transportation and other passenger services;
• providing sevices with auxiliary vessels;
- Providing recreation/accommodation/living;
- Providing economic and information security of the Branch;
- Protection of state secrets while carrying out works relating to the use of information classified as a state secret.
