By Government of Russia Regulation dated 22.11.2013 No. 2165-r the boundaries of territory and water area of Taman Seaport were amended. Amendments of the boundaries of territory of the seaport are caused by the inclusion of the land plot designed to arrange the handling bulk cargo terminal with the capacity up to 30 million tons per year with complexes for transshipment of coal, iron ore and sulfur. The additional area adjacent to the existing water area was included into the boundaries of the seaport water area.

Expansion of Taman Seaport was provided by the Government of Russian Regulation dated 10.04.2013 № 576-r under which the land plots located near Zhelezny Rog Cape were included into its territory.
