The Anadyr Department of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Eastern Basin Branch provides services for the carriage of freights and accompanying persons by sea along intra-estuary and intra-regional routes using the self-propelled barge Beringia.
Intra-estuary transportation of freights and accompanying persons is carried out from berth No. 7 to berth No. 8 of the seaport of Anadyr and back.
Intraregional transportation of freights and accompanying persons is carried out from berth No. 7 of the seaport of Anadyr to the coastal settlements of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug: to berths No. 3, No. 4 and No. 5 of the Beringovsky sea terminal, berth No. 1 of the Provideniya sea terminal, berths No. 3 and No. 4 of the Egvekinot sea terminal, to the villages of Uelkal, Konergino, Enmelen, Nunlengran, Sireniki, Kanchalan, Krasneno, Ust-Belaya and Snezhnoye.

The self-propelled barge Beringia has one main cargo deck, 14 meters long and 5.6 meters wide, equipped with a bow folding ramp. Self-propelled wheeled vehicles are loaded onto the main deck and unloaded from it via the bow folding ramp, both from equipped berths and onto an unequipped shore.
Containers are loaded and unloaded using a gantry crane or truck crane from the berths.
Loading and unloading of freights weighing up to 5 tons can be accomplished using the Beringia ship's lifting mechanism.

Description of passenger spaces
For cargo accompanying persons, the ship's superstructure provides 6 seats. The superstructure also includes a toilet and an area to warm up food and eat.

The Beringia ship is operated by the Anadyr Department of the North-Eastern Basin Branch in accordance with the following licenses issued by the Federal Transportation Inspection Service:
- for transportation of dangerous cargo by inland water and marine transport series MR-1 No. 003694, issued on 26.05.2020 (valid indefinitely);
- for the carriage of passengers by inland waterway and sea transport series MR-2 No. 001226, issued on March 31, 2014 (valid indefinitely).
The Beringia ship is staffed by a professional crew all members of which have necessary permits to operate the vessels of this type, ensuring a high level of quality in the transportation of cargo and passengers.
2. Procedure for rendering services for the carriage of freights by sea
Services for the carriage of freights and accompanying persons by sea are provided by the Anadyr Department of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Eastern Basin Branch in accordance with the contract for the provision of services for the transportation of freights by the self-propelled barge Beringia (hereinafter referred to as the Contract).
To conclude the Contract, the customer shall send an application for the Contract to the Anadyr Department of the North-Eastern Basin Branch by fax: +7 (42722) 241-16 or a scanned copy by email: mail@and.rosmorport.ru . The application will be reviewed within 3 days. If there are no technical restrictions for rendering the stated services, upon submission of all the documents required for concluding the Contract two copies of the Contract will be sent to the customer for signing. The Contract, signed by the customer, should be returned to the Anadyr Department of the North-Eastern Basin Branch at the following address: 11 Bering Street, Anadyr, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Russia, 689000.

3. Requirements for transported freights and procedure for loading freights and boarding (disembarkation) of persons accompanying freight
Requirements for transported freights
Allowed for transportation:
• motor vehicles (passenger cars, trucks) with a total weight of up to 35 tons, a height of up to 4.5 m, and a length of up to 12 m;
• special-purpose vehicles (wheeled and tracked) – road and construction vehicles, excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and other vehicles under their own power with a weight of up to 35 tons, a height of up to 4.5 m, and a length of up to 12 m;
• packaged goods – with a height of no more than 4.5 m, a width of 4 m, and a length of up to 12 m.
Prohibited for transportation:
• freights transported in bulk, loose, or liquid;
• freights transported on vehicles exceeding established dimensions.
Requirements for the transportation of persons accompanying freight
Only persons accompanying freights transported on the Beringia ship may be taken onboard.
Persons accompanying freights must have a passport or other documents for their identification in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
Seeing-off persons will not be permitted onboard the Beringia ship.
Persons accompanying freights who are intoxicated or in a state that offends human dignity and public morality are prohibited from boarding the Beringia ship.
A person accompanying freights may carry personal baggage weighing no more than 20 kg free of charge.
The following items are prohibited from being carried on board the Beringia ship in personal baggage:
- explosives, explosive devices, and objects filled with them;
- compressed and liquefied gases;
- flammable liquids;
- flammable solids;
- oxidizing agents and organic peroxides;
- toxic substances;
- radioactive materials;
- caustic and corrosive substances;
- poisonous and toxic substances;
- weapons.
Procedure for loading freights
Ro-ro equipment is loaded and unloaded by the customer through the Beringia ship's bow ramp in accordance with the vessel's crew's instructions.
Containers are loaded and unloaded using gantry cranes or truck cranes at the berths of the seaport of Anadyr, at the berths of the Beringovsky, Provideniya, and Egvekinot marine terminals.
Loading and unloading of package goods weighing up to 5 tons can be accomplished using a ship's crane.
Procedure for boarding (disembarkation) of persons accompanying freight
Persons accompanying freights embark on the Beringia ship simultaneously with cargo loading and only after the vessel is fully moored.
The vessel's crew ensures the orderly and safe boarding and disembarkation of persons accompanying cargo, as well as overseeing their disembarkation.
To ensure transport security, the vessel's crew will inspect the person accompanying freights and their personal baggage during boarding. Persons accompanying freights must present their personal baggage for inspection to the crew member responsible for the boarding and disembarkation of persons accompanying freights. If the authorized crew member's legal requests to inspect personal baggage are not met, the vessel's captain has the right to deny the person accompanying freights access to the vessel and transportation to their destination.
The order of boarding and disembarkation of these persons is determined by the vessel's crew.
Boarding of new persons accompanying freights for a new voyage is carried out after all the persons accompanying freights from the previous voyage have disembarked.
4. Places for loading freights and boarding (disembarking) of persons accompanying freight
Directions to berth No. 7 of the seaport of Anadyr (for intra-estuary transportation) from the Chukotka Hotel
From the hotel entrance, drive straight along Otke Street to the intersection with Mira Street. Turn left at the intersection and, after 150 meters, turn right onto Partizanskaya Street. Continue along Partizanskaya Street to its end, where berth No. 7 is located.
Directions to berth No. 8 in the seaport of Anadyr (for intra-estuary transportation) from the international airport
From the airport parking lot, drive straight ahead and turn right to the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the A-384. Drive straight along this road for approximately 5.2 km to the intersection with Prichalnaya Street. At the intersection, turn left and continue straight along Prichalnaya Street for approximately 3.5 km to the end of the street, where berth No. 8 of the seaport of Anadyr is located.
The places for loading freights and boarding (disembarking) of persons accompanying freight for intraregional transportation are determined in agreement with the captain of the Beringia ship and the customer, taking into account the technical limitations on approaching an unequipped shore and on loading (unloading) freights and boarding (disembarking) of persons accompanying freight from an unequipped shore on board the Beringia ship.
Sea transportation of freights and persons accompanying freight is carried out in accordance with the terms of the concluded Contract. Time of the vessel's departure and arrival at berths No. 7 and No. 8 of the seaport of Anadyr for intra-estuary transportation, as well as of the vessel's departure and arrival at loading/unloading places for intra-regional transportation, is determined by agreement of the parties and is not set by a vessel schedule.
