As part of compensatory measures for aquatic biological resources during the planned dredging in 2022 in the waters of the seaport of Vanino, the Vanino Branch of the FSUE “Rosmorport”, in the presence of representatives of regulatory authorities, organized the release of more than 144 thousand specimens of juvenile chum salmon into Lake Tikhoe of the Khabarovsk Territory.

The juvenile chum salmon with an average weight of 2 gram was bred and released into the water body by order of the Vanino Branch by a specialized fish farm.

In accordance with the action plan for the artificial reproduction of aquatic biological resources, this release of juvenile chum salmon for the Vanino Branch will be the only one this year.

The expenses of the branch for the implementation of the corresponding compensation measures amounted to more than 1.5 million rubles.
