The Celebrity Millennium liner opens 2019 cruise navigation in the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

The Celebrity Millennium liner opened 2019 cruise navigation by mooring at the berths No. 6, 7 and 8, in the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on May 2, 2019.

Pilots of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Petropavlovsk Branch made safe pilotage of the vessel for its berthing.

The liner’s length is 294 meters and the breadth is 32 meters. The liner has 11 passenger decks and 975 rooms.

In the history of the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky this is the first cruise liner of such dimensions that moored in the seaport.

Over 2.000 passengers from over 20 world countries and almost 1.000 crewmembers arrived aboard the liner.

The fast and qualitative registration of the passengers has been made in the Russian border checkpoint located at the marine passenger terminal of the Petropavlovsk Branch.

The liner’s stay in the seaport lasted for one day during which foreign tourists were able to visit the city and get acquainted with lifestyle and culture of Kamchatka people in the Kainyran ethnographic village.

Upon completion of the visit, the cruise liner led by pilots of the Petropavlovsk Branch left the seaport of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for the coasts of Canada.
