Luch motor boat joins the fleet of the Astrakhan Branch

The FSUE “Rosmorport” Astrakhan Branch has acquired a new hydrographic survey boat Luch of the MARINER 850FRB project.

The boat is the 8th navigation vessel of the Astrakhan Branch and the 37th vessel in the entire fleet of the branch.

The vessel is an enclosed monohull aluminum magnesium alloy boat with a continuous upper deck, superstructure to accommodate crew and special personnel, and rear engine room arrangement. The main engine of 199 kW drives a single propeller with diameter of 0.5 m.

For this vessel, a fastening for measuring equipment was produced and installed, which allows for high-speed transitions between measuring sites with no need for additional equipment calibration.

The vessel is equipped with a hydrographic complex on the basis of two-headed multibeam echo sounder and single-beam echo sounder, which allow to make measurements of the bottom with the angle of coverage up to 220 degrees and the width of the survey bandwidth up to 10 times greater than the depth.

The Astrakhan Branch plans to use the boat for measuring works in the water areas of the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya.
