In connection with release from ice of the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya water areas, Volga-Caspian Marine Shipping Canal and Astrakhan roadstead by the order of FSE “Administration of the Sea Port of Astrakhan” dated 21.03.2011 № 28 the ending of winter navigation in the aforementioned areas was announced since 00:00 22.03.2011.
