On October, 3 2012 the Arkhangelsk Branch icebreaker Captain Kosolapov returned to the sea port of Arkhangelsk after a long-term voyage in Kara sea, where it secured safety of seismic surveys implemented by the Western Trident vessel on the basis of contract with Belfrakht, LLC.

The total duration of the icebreaker concluded 95 day, including 74 days on the run. During the reis Captain Kosolapov passed more that 9.2 thousand nautical miles. Navigation in Kara sea was implemented in rough sea. From time to time this caused quick roll with 7 seconds period and angle of bank of 40 degrees.
