The North-Western Basin Branch takes part in the conference on personnel management in the maritime industry companies

The FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch took part in a conference related to the discussion of key topics in the field of personnel management in maritime industry companies. The conference was held at the Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping.

The conference, organized by FSUE "Atomflot", was attended by 17 member companies of the Russian Chamber of Shipping, as well as other maritime organizations.

The North-Western Basin Branch was represented at the conference by Tatiana Bespalaya and Ekaterina Frolova, employees of the HR and HR record management Departments of the Branch. They showed the participants of the event an introductory video about the activities of the North-West Basin Branch.

Tatiana Bespalaya presented a report on the topic “Shortage of qualified personnel: sources of search, assessment of competencies, personnel development” within the framework of the conference, in which she laid out the existing problems of shortage of positions in combined professions in maritime transport, such as a operator-turner, a fitter, a motorman.

Ekaterina Frolova made a presentation on the topic “Motivation system: topical issues (material and non-material motivation systems)”, having introduced the practical experience of the branch on material and non-material motivation of the branch's employees in order to achieve the common interests of the enterprise and its employees to the audience.

Following the results of the conference, its participants expressed gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to receive expert opinion on the most pressing issues in the field of personnel management and best practices for the development of business processes from representatives of the largest maritime organizations.
