FSUE "Rosmorport" received a positive conclusion of the state expertise No. 39-1-1-3-003971-2022 dated 27.01.2022, approved by the FAA "Glavgosexpertiza of Russia", on the corrected design and estimate documentation for the construction of an international sea terminal for the reception of cruise and passenger vessels at the seaport of Kaliningrad.

Correction of design estimates and engineering survey results is associated with the need to clarify the design solutions for the construction of the passenger terminal building, as well as some of the onshore auxiliary buildings and hydraulic engineering structures due to flaws in the design and engineering documents discovered during the construction phase.

In addition, the new documentation takes into account the changes in regulatory requirements for the design and technical equipment of checkpoint facilities across the state border of the Russian Federation and in the field of transport safety, which are required for the construction of marine passenger terminals, as well as updated estimated cost of completing the construction.

In order to save money on project implementation, it was decided to revise the technology of construction and installation works for the immersion of the front sheet pile walls and architectural and construction solutions.

Currently, the degree of readiness of the project implementation is 30 %. To date, part of the hydraulic structures (the eastern breakwater, part of the barrier breakwater, part of the northern breakwater and part of the pier No. 1) has been built, and an artificial land plot No. 1 has been formed.

Taking into account the corrections made to the design and estimate documentation, the completion of construction and installation works on the project of the international sea terminal for cruise and cargo-passenger vessels at the seaport of Kaliningrad is scheduled for the 4^th quarter of 2023.
