Information on the seaport of Ust-Luga in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation amended

By order of the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport No. ZD-268-r dated July 2, 2021, the information on the seaport of Ust-Luga in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation was amended.

The adjustments are related to the clarification of the main technical characteristics of the seaport, in particular, the capacity of cargo terminals, an increase in the areas of open warehouses, the volume of storage tanks for oil, petroleum products, food bulk cargo, chemical cargo, grain cargo in the seaport of Ust-Luga.

Moreover, the location of the sea terminals and the names of individual sea operators operating in the seaport of Ust-Luga were clarified.


For reference:

The North-Western basin branch of FSUE "Rosmorport" in the seaport of Ust-Luga has 4 berths, three of which are leased to operators of sea terminals according to the established procedure, and one berth is used by the Ust-Luga department of the branch for its own needs.

According to the results of 7 months of 2021, more than 5.4 million tons of cargo were handled at the leased berths of the branch in the seaport of Ust-Luga, which is 8.8% of the total volume of transshipment in the seaport and 0.5% more than in the comparable period of 2020.
