Boundaries of the Seaport of Vysotsk Expanded

By the order of the Government of Russia No. 2212-r dated October 31, 2015 it was decided to expand the boundaries of the seaport of Vysotsk by including in its boundaries the land plots located on the Ryuyevyalinniyemi Peninsula designated for the construction of a liquefied petroleum gas transshipment sea terminal with a capacity of 660 thousand tonnes per year.

The project of construction of the sea terminal is implemented jointly by “CryoGAS” CJSC  and FSUE “Rosmorport” in accordance with the agreement on cooperation in its implementation signed in December 2014 .

Under this investment project it is planned to build a branch of the gas pipeline to the sea terminal from the existing trunk lines and a sea terminal consisting of a wharf for the shipment of liquefied natural gas, a pipeline bridge with a walkway, an auxiliary fleet wharf, and other auxiliary facilities of the port and engineering infrastructure of the sea terminal. Total capital investment in the implementation of the project will make up about 50 billion rubles, including about 14.5 billion rubles for the construction of the sea terminal.

In respect of the liability of FSUE “Rosmorport” under the investment project, it is expected to carry out the construction of navigation safety system facilities (to build two “Kolonna”-type navigation marks and place 6 floating aids to navigation in the operational waters of the sea terminal).

To date “CryoGAS” CJSC has drafted and agreed upon a technical specification for survey works and development of design documentation sections with FSUE “Rosmorport”. Subject to receiving positive expert opinions of state expert review boards for the documentation drafted for construction of the sea terminal and the allocation of the required funding, the start of construction works on the project is planned for 2016.
