Information on the Seaport of Big Port of Saint-Petersburg in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation Amende

By order No. AD-190-r of Rosmorrechflot dated June 8, 2015, information in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation concerning the Big Port of Saint-Petersburg has been amended.

Amendments are related to the revision of the main technical characteristics of the seaport of the Big Port of Saint-Petersburg, in particular, the number of berths, length of the seaport berthing front, throughput of freight terminals, area of open and covered warehouses.

Names and addresses of sea operators, operating in the Big Port of Saint-Petersburg, as well as the name of the Seaport Administration, functions of which are now performed by FSBI “The Administration of the Baltic seaports” have also been updated in the Register.

The North-Western Basin Branch disposes of 72 berths in the Big Port of Saint-Petersburg with the quay wall length of almost 12,3 km which is respectively 50% of the total number of berths in the seaport and 54,7% of the total quay wall length of all berths in the seaport of Big Port of Saint-Petersburg.
According to the results for 7 months of 2015 in the seaport of Big Port of Saint-Petersburg, over 30.3 million tonnes of cargo were handled.
On the berths of the North-Western Basin Branch in the seaport of Big Port of Saint-Petersburg for the same period almost 18.9 million tonnes of cargo were handled, which is 62,2% of the total volume of cargo handling in the seaport of Big Port of Saint-Petersburg.
