In accordance with permission of the urban settlement municipal entity administration “Baltiysk Town” dated 10.09.2015 No. 39-RU39513101-22-2015 a newly built repair and technical base of Kaliningrad Port VTS was put into operation.

The base was constructed by the North-Western Basin Branch from October 2014 till April 2015.

During the construction a container for workshop and warehouse was set; block modules for eating and recreation of staff were installed; a parking station, pedestrian crossings and engineering communications were constructed.

The total expenses on the construction of the Kaliningrad Port VTS repair and technical base exceeded 5.6 million roubles.

With the newly constructed repair base employees of the Kaliningrad Department of the North-Western Basin Branch now have better conditions to provide high-quality repairs and storage of large spare parts, devices and equipment. That will help them to successfully perform urgent repais and maintenance of the Kaliningrad Port VTS equipment.
