Employees of the North-West Basin branch participated in the solemn event dedicated to the professional holiday – Marine and River Fleet Employee Day.
 
The ceremonies opening took place at the Peter embankment, where a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the monument “To Seafarers and Creators of the Russian Navy” was held with the participation of Rosmorrechflot Deputy Head Alexander Poshivay, Chairman of the Transport Committee of the Government of St. Petersburg Alexander Vorobyov, employees of the North-West Basin Branch, representatives of other maritime industry organizations, as well as shipbuilding veterans and naval youth.
 
As part of the celebrations senior management of the North-West Basin Branch awarded the most distinguished branch employees for labor achievements and many years of diligent work with the letters of thanks and certificates of honor.
 
The event program was closed with the great gala concert organized by the Government of St. Petersburg in the Oktyabrsky Big Concert Hall.
