On 05 February 2014 with the help of the North-Western Basin Branch an excursion to the Saint-Petersburg icebreaker was arranged for the children – pupils of the state public educational institution of Leningrad Region “Efimovskaya Special Boarding School for Orphans”.
 
Master of the icebreaker Yaroslav Verzhbitskiy gave a tour of the icebreaker and told the children about its mission and technical peculiarities, and also answered all their questions. During the tour the kids could visit the deck-house and the central control console of the icebreaker, and also saw the daily life of the crew with their own eyes.  
 
In the end of the excursion the children enjoyed a tea party and received gifts from the team of the North-Western Basin Branch.
