Information on Ust-Luga Seaport in the Register of Russian Seaports Amended

By Rosmorrechflot regulation dated 01.12.2014 No. AD-455-r the information on Ust-Luga seaport in the Register of Seaports of the Russian Federation was amended.

The amendments specify the principal technical characteristics of Ust-Luga seaport, in particular, number of berths and the moorage wall length of separate berths, carrying capacity of cargo terminals of the seaport, as well as maximal dimensions of vessels serviced in the seaport.

Moreover, technical characteristics of separate marine terminals of Ust-Luga seaport were specified, names and addresses of their operators, and also new information on new marine terminals and their operators was added.

Besides, the Register of Russian seaports specified the name and address of the Ust-Luga Administration, the functions of which are now performed by Federal state budgetary institution “Administration of seaports of the Azov Sea.

In Ust-Luga seaport the North-Western Basin Branch possesses 5 berths with the total length of the moorage wall exceeding 0.9 km, which stands for 13.8 % of the total moorage wall length of all berths in the seaport.
As the results of 2014 show, 75.78 mln tons of cargo were transferred in Ust-Luga seaport which exceeds the results of 2013 by 24 %. In 2014 at berths of the North-Western Basin Branch 1.7 mln tons of cargo were transferred, that is 2.2 % of the total volume of transshipment in Ust-Luga seaport and by 52.8 % exceeds the results of 2013.
