The North-West Basin Branch Kaliningrad Department helped to organize and conduct the Kruzenchtern Barque Open Cup international regatta commemorated to the 87th anniversary of the barque and aimed at the development of water tourism and sports in Kaliningrad Region.

The branch provided berth No. 81 and part of berth No. 1 of the ferry crossing in Kaliningrad Seaport in order to ensure safe mooring of the sailing ships following the route Baltiysk – Sopot – Baltiysk, and also to enable state authorities to register the arrival and departure to the seaport.

The awards and closing ceremonies of the regatta were also held at berth No. 1 of the ferry crossing of the North-West Basin Branch in Kalinigrad Seaport.
