Lead Beacons Removal in Korsakov Seaport

As the summer navigation period has finished, on 10 December 2014 the Sakhalin Branch removed the lead beacons in quantity of 2 pieces in Korsakov seaport.

It is to remind that earlier the function of navigational and hydrographic support in seaports of the Russian Federation was transferred to FSUE “Rosmorport” on the grounds of amendments of the Russian Federation legislation in the sphere of merchant shipping. Because of this the Sakhalin Branch already installed lead beacons in Korsakov and Kholmsk seaports on its own in 2014.

At present, after assignation of lead beacons from the Hydrographic Service of the Pacific Fleet was finished, under economic management of the Sakhalin Branch there are 26 lead beacons and 2 couples of port entry lights Kolonna type designed to provide safe navigation in Alexandrovsk-Sakhalinsky, Korsakov, Moskalvo, Nevelsk, Kholmsk, Shakhtersk seaports.

In 2015, after navigation in Alexandrovsk-Sakhalinsky, Moskalvo and Shahktersk seaports and summer navigation in Korsakov seaport open, the Sakhalin Branch is going to install 18 floating warning beacons in the above mentioned seaports.
