In accordance with the Government of Russia Resolution dated 10.10.2023 No. 2773-r, the boundaries of the seaport of Vanino were amended.

The amendments concern the inclusion of the sea terminal territory and water area sections, intended for coal transshipment, in the boundaries of the seaport of Vanino.

The coal terminal is located on Cape Manorsky in the Khabarovsk Territory. At this terminal it is planned to transfer coal delivered from the Elginsky deposit by rail.

The terminal's capacity will be about 30 million tons per year. Berths of the terminal under construction will be able to receive up to 4 vessels with a deadweight of up to 85 thousand tons at the same time. The first bulk carrier of the marine terminal is planned in the beginning of 2025.

In the case of successful completion of construction and after the commissioning of the facility, the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Eastern Basin Branch plans to provide pilotage services to vessels that will make calls to the berths of the new coal terminal.
