Vanino Branch sets floating navigation marks and signs

The Vanino Branch has set 16 floating navigation signs in the water area of the seaports of Vanino, De Kastri and Sovetskaya Gavan pursuant to the “Lights and Signs of the Pacific Coast of Russia” list,  Administrative No 2401.

The signs have been set in the mentioned seaports on the threshold of the 2018 summer navigation in order to ensure navigation safety on relevant fairway sections.

Particularly, three buoys designed for roping off shoal borders of capes have been set in the seaport of Vanino. They are located near anchoring stations for sea vessels.

Ten buoys have been set in the seaport of De Kastri. They rope off dangerous banks in the Chikhachev Bay.

Three buoys, including an axial buoy, have been set in the seaport of Sovetskaya Gavan. The axial buoy has been set in the area of a roundabout on the approaches toward the seaports of Vanino and Sovetskaya Gavan. Two buoys have been set in the Lososin Bay to rope off shoal borders.

Buoys have been set by the Vanino Branch with the aid of the MB-381 and the Khasanets tugs.

Vanino Branch services 17 buoys in total in the seaports of Vanino, De Kastri, Nikolayevsk-on-Amur and Sovetskaya Gavan.
