The FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch has received a positive conclusion of the Federal Autonomous Institution “Glavgosekspertiza of Russia” No. 25-1-1-3-012406-2023 dated 16.03.2023 on the assessment of compliance of the engineering surveys' results with the requirements of technical regulations, assessment of compliance of design documentation with the established requirements, verification of the reliability of determining the estimated cost of the facility “Reconstruction of Berth No. 19 of the Seaport of Nakhodka”.

Earlier, the design documentation for this facility received a positive conclusion of the state environmental assessment No. 25-1-01-1-07-0086-22, approved by Rosprirodnadzor order No. 414-О dated 22.09.2022.

The need for reconstruction arose out of both the unsatisfactory technical condition of a part of the berth with a length of 58 m, and the necessity to create safe conditions for laying up of the branch’s dredging fleet and the ability to receive local passenger vessels with a draught of 10 thousand tons, up to 140 m long, 19.2 m wide and a loaded draft of 6.8 m.

Within the design implementation, the following is envisaged:

- construction of the projected vertical wall made of bevel shoulder in the form of an anchored revetment on site No. 1 with a length of 58 m;

- construction of the utility network;

- elongation of the existing storm sewer outlet;

- covering of the berth area;

- installation of a storm sewer system with local rainwater treatment facilities for the treatment of surface waters (rainwater, melt and irrigation waters) from the berth;

- dredging to the design reference mark of the bottom up to -9.35 m.

The reconstruction of berth No. 19 in the seaport of Nakhodka will be made at the expense of budget investments in accordance with Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1580-r dated 16.06.2022, which approved a long-term plan for the integrated social and economic development of the Nakhodka City District of Primorsky Krai.

In case of allocation of the necessary funds, the construction and installation work is expected to begin in 2024.
