The Far Eastern Basin Branch orchestra performed with a concert program in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

On November 25, the orchestra of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Far Eastern Basin Branch and the Maritime State University named after admiral G.I. Nevelskoy (orchestra conductor Anatoly Yakimenko) performed the concert program “Legends of Russian rock” in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk at the venue of the “City Hall” concert hall.

The orchestra gathered a full hall. The audience included employees of the FSUE “Rosmorport” Sakhalin Branch, who came to support the musicians from Vladivostok during their first performance in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Professional sound and light, the program flawlessly performed by the orchestra together with vocalists Vladimir Grinchenko, Maksim Kolesnikov, Mikhail Kogan and Yulia Uchaykina gave a real holiday of music to the residents of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

The program included arrangements of Russian rock music performed by the symphony orchestra, among them compositions of such famous bands as “Kino”, “Chaif”, "Mummy Troll", "Aria", "Picnic". After the concert, the audience gave the orchestra and vocalists a standing ovation and did not let them off the stage for a long time.

The orchestra team continues to develop touring activities in the Far East. In the coming days the orchestra will perform in the cities of Ussuriysk and Nakhodka, Primorsky Krai.
