Under Russia Federal Maritime and River Transport Service (Rosmorrechflot) Resolution No VO-43-r dated March 06, 2017, FSUE “Rosmorport” Charter has been amended. According to the established procedure the enterprise was registered at Russian Federal Tax Service Interdistrict Tax Office for Moscow No. 46 on March 28, 2017 and recorded in the Unified Register of Legal Entities under registration number 8177746160870.

The amendments have been made due in order to expand the list of types of FSUE “Rosmorport” authorized activities by the right to carry out activities for ensuring protection of the transport infrastructure and transport means from acts of unlawful interference.

In accordance with Federal Law “On Transport Security” No. 16-FZ dated February 02, 2007 and Russian Government Resolution No. 678 dated July 16, 2016 the enterprise is planning to create FSUE “Rosmorport” transport security units to defend the transport infrastructure facilities and transport means of the enterprise.

It is necessary to note, that at present FSUE “Rosmorport”, as subject of the transport infrastructure, which directly uses transport means and the transport infrastructure facilities in 48 seaports, is ensuring their transportation security.

According to Russian law on transportation security and according to the established procedure the enterprise carries out measures for conducting classification of transport means and facilities of the transport infrastructure, making assessment on vulnerability and developing plans for ensuring transportation security at corresponding facilities and to conduct the works on equipping them with engineered safety features.
