On April 26, for the fifth time in a row, FSUE “Rosmorport” took part in the Dictation of Victory international historical event. 70 students of the Institute of Water transport named after G. Y. Sedov, a branch of the Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University, who were undergoing practical training at the enterprise, tested their knowledge of the events of the Great Patriotic War.

The dictation participants were greeted by representatives of the Sochi Branch of the United Russia Party, as well as the officials of FSUE “Rosmorport”.

FSUE “Rosmorport” and  Admiral Ushakov Maritime State University have a long-term effective cooperation, during which the enterprise assists to the leading transport university in the south of Russia in the training of highly qualified personnel for the maritime industry.

The Dictation of Victory international historical event has been held annually since 2019. It is aimed at patriotic education of young people, improving their historical literacy and preserving the memory of the heroic deeds of our ancestors on the battlefields and on the home front.

This year, the block of questions was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege, the coming of Soviet troops to the borders, anniversaries of front-line writers, as well as other significant dates. The test contained 25 multiple-choice questions accompanied by documentary photographs, reproductions of famous paintings and film shots.

The patriotic campaign was organized by the United Russia Party, the Russian Historical Society, the Russian Military Historical Society with the assistance of the Ministry of Education of Russia, the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation, the All-Russian Public Movement “Volunteers of Victory”, the Russian Union of Veterans, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Federal Service of the Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and other organizations. The Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 was the key platform of the event.
