The sailing practice of 2021 on the sailing training vessel Nadezhda has been successfully completed. This year the vessel received more than 500 cadets from the Admiral G.I. Nevelsky Maritime State University and Siberian State University of Water Transport.

This year's practice consisted of five shifts from January to December 2021. During this time, the vessel Nadezhda made 8 training voyages and covered over 10,000 nautical miles along the shores of Primorye, Khabarovsk Territory and Sakhalin Island.

During the sailing practice cadets practiced the previously obtained theoretical knowledge and mastered the necessary practical experience, including learning to determine the position of the vessel by different visual methods of navigation landmarks, made astronomical observations. An integral part of the practice is the participation of cadets in the sailing rush on the ship. All in all, there were about 160 of them this year on Nadezhda, some of them were held at night.

The ship also traditionally hosted "Intern's Day", ceremonies of lowering commemorative wreaths into the water in La Perouse Strait and Tsushima Strait, sports competitions, chess tournaments, concerts of amateur art activities.
