The first educational week of the FSUE "Rosmorport" educational program "Wind of distant wanderings" in the children's camp "Shtormovoy" of Russian children's center "Orlyonok" came to an end. During the five days, 73 winners of the "My Port" contest attended courses in robotics, shipbuilding, programming, port engineering, and other courses. During this time, the children managed to gain basic knowledge and skills and even start working on their projects.

The participants in the "Virtual Reality Museum" course have already visited the "Shtormovoy" camp museum, selected exhibits for the tour, wrote the text, recorded their voices, created AR tags, and also got acquainted with the 3ds max 3D graphics program. In the "Innovative Shipbuilding" course children designed two boats and engaged in impregnation of seams. Participants in the course "Entertaining Navigation" assembled weather vanes and solved fascinating tasks. In robotics and programming classes, the children learned to work in the Arduino software environment, assembled the technical component of future inventions, and in the "Young Meteorologist" course its participants have already mastered 3D printing and made a drawing of the weather station.

Teachers note the interest and activity of the winners of the "My Port" contest, their desire to learn new information and create their own inventions. This is evidenced by the results of intermediate tests, which the participants successfully passed for each course.

On July 6, children from the children's camp "Shtormovoy" will be able to try themselves in new directions during the so-called "educational trials". The thematic program of FSUE "Rosmorport" provides for the implementation of three training modules: "depth sounder", where young sailors will create a sounder model, "Morse alphabet apparatus", which main purpose is to assemble a telegraph model, and "Young Marinist", where children together with a professional marine painter will draw a pictures on the wall of the building of the camp "Shtormovoy".

At the end of the season, the Project Festival will be held, where course participants will be able to present their own inventions. The best participants will be awarded with valuable prizes from FSUE "Rosmorport", which is the organizer of the "My Port" project.
