Since June 23, the educational program of FSUE "Rosmorport" "Wind of Distant Wanderings" has begun in the camp "Shtormovoy". 73 winners of the "My Port" contest take part in this program.

The program "Wind of Distant Wanderings" is aimed at studying modern maritime technologies, innovative shipbuilding and ship modeling. The program participants will get acquainted with the functioning of high-tech seaports and coastal infrastructure.

The thematic program of FSUE "Rosmorport" includes seven disciplines: "Innovative shipbuilding", "Remote control board programming", "Robotics in automated port infrastructure", "Young meteorologist", "Entertaining navigation", "Augmented reality museum" and "Port engineering". Each participant will be able to master one full educational course.

Also, the children can try themselves out in one of nine additional fields of study: "Echo sounder", "Morse alphabet apparatus", "Young marine painter", "Communications", "Marine ecology", "Drums", "Navy histories and traditions", "Firearms training" and "First aid".

Invited teachers, methodologists, experts in design, maritime affairs and technical creativity will act as lecturers and mentors. Under their supervision, the children will learn how to design models of marine instruments, explore the process of handling the vessel, master the skills of creating virtual reality, learn the basics of marine painting, get acquainted with the main trends and professions of the future in the maritime industry.

One of the key events will be the "Sunny Regatta" and the "Project festival" of the children's camp "Shtormovoy", where the winners of the "My Port" contest will be able to demonstrate the results of their work carried out throughout the whole shift.
