FSUE "Rosmorport" and JSC "Onego Shipyard" signed an act of acceptance and delivery of mud boat Morskaya

FSUE "Rosmorport" and JSC "Onego Shipyard" have signed an act of acceptance and delivery of the mud boat Morskaya of project HB-600, built by the plant by order of FSUE "Rosmorport". The new vessel was assigned to the Taman Department of the FSUE "Rosmorport" Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch. The home port of the Morskaya scow is the seaport of Novorossiysk.

After commissioning, the Morskaya scow will be sent to work as part of dredging caravan at the facilities of the Azovo-Chernomorsky Basin Branch.

Earlier, in November, technical acceptance of the scow took place after the successful completion of the vessel’s sea trials. During the tests, the commission checked the working condition of the equipment, as well as the main operating characteristics, the functioning of automation, navigation and communication facilities. The vessel has shown full readiness for work and good characteristics.

The solemn ceremony of launching the scow was held at the JSC "Onego Shipyard" on August 7, 2020.

Contract for the design and construction of two dump scows with a hold volume of 600 cubic meters. m (Morskaya and Smelaya) between FSUE "Rosmorport" and JSC "Onego Shipyard" was signed in October 2018, work began on October 15, 2018. The project for a series of vessels was developed by JCSC Spetsudoproekt. The construction was carried out under the supervision and in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping for the class KM Ice1 R3-RSN AUT3 Hopper.

JSC "Onego Shipyard" has already constructed two vessels of the same type with a hold volume of 600 m3 - the Trudovaya scow was handed over to the customer on November 27, 2018 in the Temryuk seaport, the Silnaya scow was handed over to the customer on December 11, 2018 in the Makhachkala seaport. The third vessel - Rabochaya scow (home port – Big Port of St. Petersburg) with a hold volume of 900 m3 was delivered to the customer on June 20, 2019.

By the end of this year, JSC "Onego Shipyard" plans to hand over to the customer the scow Smelaya, where the commissioning of mechanisms and equipment is currently underway. After acceptance the vessel will be sent for work to the FSUE “Rosmorport” Makhachkala branch.

During the construction of the ships, the equipment of Russian production, as well as of the countries of the Customs Union, was used to the maximum extent.
