Cargo turnover of Russian seaports in the first nine months of 2020 decreased by 2.7%, to 611.48 million tons.

The press service of Rosmorrechflot informs that cargo turnover of Russian seaports in January-September this year decreased by 2.7% compared to the same period in 2019 and amounted to 611.48 million tons. At the same time, dry cargo transshipment increased by 5.2% to 295.75 million tons, and bulk cargo decreased by 9.0% to 315.73 million tons.

The cargo turnover of the seaports of the Far East basin amounted to 71.45 million tons (- 9.1%), of which the dry cargo transshipment was 21.89 million tons (-6.7%), and bulk cargo was 49.56 million tons (-10.1%).

Cargo turnover at the seaports of the Baltic basin was 181.14 million tons (-6.2%), of which the dry cargo transshipment was 81.74 million tons (-1.8%) and bulk cargo was 99.4 million tons (-9.5%).

Cargo turnover of the seaports of the Azov-Black Sea basin amounted to 185.45 million tons (-3.2%), of which the dry cargo transshipment was 79.63 million tons (+ 12.6%), and bulk cargo was 105.82 million tons ( -12.4%).

Cargo turnover of the Caspian Basin seaports increased by 11.3% to 6.17 million tons (+11.3%). The amount of dry cargo transshipment amounted to 2,64 million tons (+25,3%), bulk cargo was 3,53 million tons (+2,7%).

Cargo turnover of the Far Eastern basin seaports increased by 4.9% to 167.27 million tons. The amount of dry cargo transshipment was 109,85 million tons (+8,1%), and bulk cargo was 57.42 million tons (-0.6%).
