Pupils of the all-Russian Children’s center Orlyonok, including five winners of the competition “My port”, closed the last ninth summer shift. In the children's camp Shtormovoy, within its framework, a thematic construction with initiation into young sailors, a formation competition and songs “Crew is one family!” and the intellectual and creative game “Fate and Motherland are one!”

The shift participants also took part in the final regatta “On the top of the wave”, an hour of courage, the quest game “Roads of Victory”, an evening of memories “Remember those who fought.”

The result of the shift will be a historical exhibition “In the footsteps of great sailors”, the crews will present at it information about those sailors who were studied throughout the race.

The training program is aimed at promotion of sea and port professions, career guidance and upbringing of children and teenagers in the glorious sea traditions - inculcation of moral values of citizenship and patriotism, ability to work in a team, traditionally developed among people whose profession, life and work are connected with the sea industry. Children learn to sail, navigate by the stars, get acquainted with the functionality of floating crew on various ships and their engineering duties, learn sailorizing and semaphore alphabet - acquire primary skills of maritime affairs in an interactive form: in theory and practice.
