On July 31, 2020, a working session was held in the seaport of Gelendzhik on the implementation of the project "Complex of coastal and marine infrastructure in the seaport of Gelendzhik".

The goal of the project is to create a modern passenger seaport that will accept not only passenger liners, but also motor and sailing small-sized vessels of various classes.

The session was chaired by Deputy head of Rosmorrechflot Zachary Dzhioev, with the participation of Andrey Lavrishchev, General Director of FSUE "Rosmorport", as well as Aleksandr Kalistratov, head of the Directorate of the facility "Complex of coastal and marine infrastructure in the sea port of Gelendzhik", representatives of the general contractor – JSC "Stroytransgaz" general director Igor Zabiran and project director Andrey Beshentsev, general director of JSC "LENMORNIIPROEKT" Igor Rusu, and general director of LLC "Gelendzhik Seaport" Vladimir Kolbin.

The session participants discussed the progress of the construction of the site, the deadlines for the completion of work on the construction of the main structures and the commissioning of sites, inspected the implementation of construction and installation work at the site.

Currently, the construction of the pile foundation of the Southern pier has been completed at the site, and work is underway to install the loosening and concreting of the upper structure of the pier. In General, the work on the Southern pier is completed by 70 %. Pile foundation of moorages 3.2 and 3.3 of the marine is also under construction, the preparation for the piling work of the North pier is underway.

The implementation of the project will increase the tourist attractiveness of the resort town, as well as contribute to the development of sea transport routes in the coastal region.
