New mark boat expands FSUE “Rosmorport” fleet

The Fortuna mark boat with ice reinforcement of Project 02780M arrived at the seaport of Big Port Saint Petersburg on October 19, 2018.

The ship built by order of the FSUE “Rosmorport” at the Onega Shipyard successfully ended sea trials in the water area of the Onega Lake on October 15. During the trials, specialists checked the operating status of the equipment and key particulars of the boat, the functioning of automation, navigation and communications means. The boat proved full operational readiness.

The vessel is designed for carry out works related to installation, surveying and maintenance of floating aids to navigation on the approaches toward and in the seaport’s water area, as well as transporting general cargoes on the deck with loading and unloading operations using a port’s means or a vessel’s crane. The boat will be used by the Kaliningrad Directorate of the FSUE “Rosmorport” North-Western Basin Branch in the seaport of Kaliningrad.

The Fortuna mark boat was put afloat on May 4 of the current year. Then outfitting works afloat, mooring and sea trials have been carried out at the Onega Shipyard.
