On November 21, within "Transport Week-2018", General Director of FSUE "Rosmorport" Andrey Lavrishchev held a meeting with the management of the enterprise.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy General Directors, the directors of the branches and the heads of the departments of the enterprise’s central apparatus.

Andrey Lavrishchev pointed out in his speech the importance of ensuring the efficient work of the company’s fleet, in particular the timely preparedness of vessels for winter navigation and smooth operation of the fleet.

Presenting the objectives of the enterprise for 2019, General Director stressed the need to define the key indicators of the FSUE "Rosmorport" effective activity, which conforms all needs against challenges, which the enterprise and industry face, taking into account modern requirements and practical solutions in the field of business process automation.

Among the main guidelines for the enterprise, special emphasis was placed on the following tasks, which were reflected in the "May" instructions of the President of Russia:
- implementation of measures for the development of port infrastructure included in the comprehensive plan for the modernization and expansion of the main infrastructure for the period up to 2024, to increase the capacity of the Russian Federation's seaports;
- work on a comprehensive increase in labor productivity, ensuring positive dynamics of the indicator at a level not less than 5 % of the actually achieved indicator of the previous year;
- capital expenditure expansion in the infrastructure of the seaports of the far East.

Andrey Lavrishchev paid special attention to the issue of the digitization of the activity of FSUE "Rosmorport", as a significant factor in improving the efficiency of enterprises in the industry. One of the priorities for 2019 is the development and introduction of the universal applications for the managers of the enterprise, which allows to get topic and up-to-date information on the most important aspects of the activity of the FSUE "Rosmorport".

It should be noted that the issues of automation, active introduction of digital technologies and best practices in transport became one of the main topics which caused the most active interest and discussion in the forum "Transport of Russia – 2018". Speaking to the plenary, the Russian Transport Minister, Yevgeny Ditrikh, noted that “in the future the most important factor for the success of the transport system would be the level of its digitization. Our mission is to create unified digital platform of transport complex based on Russian software”.

The management meeting of the enterprise ended with an award ceremony. The medal of the Russian Ministry of Transport was given to Sergey Ilyashenko, the head of the Department of Maritime Assurance of the FSUE "Rosmorport", for his contribution to the development of the transport system of the country.
