Information on FSUE “Rosmorport” icebreaker support at Russian seaports as of January 14, 2019

Since the beginning of the 2018-2019 navigation FSUE “Rosmorport” icebreakers have provided support for 2,026 vessels.

The Moskva icebreaker provides icebreaker support in the water area of the seaport of Sabetta. Since the beginning of the navigation it has provided support for five vessels.

The Krasin icebreaker provided support in the Kara Sea for 13 vessels.

Since the beginning of the winter navigation the Kapitan Yevdokimov, the Kapitan Kosolapov, the Kapitan Chadaev and the Dikson icebreakers have provided support for 79 vessels in the White Sea.

Since the beginning of the navigation in the Gulf of Finland the icebreakers of the North-Western Basin Branch have provided support for 188 vessels.

The six vessels of the icebreaker fleet – the Kapitan Moshkin, the Kapitan Chudinov, the Kapitan Demidov, the Kapitan Zarubin, the Kapitan Kharchikov and the Kama provide support for vessels to the seaports of Azov, Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog. Since the beginning of the winter navigation the icebreakers have provided support for 1,603 vessels.

The icebreakers – the Kapitan Chechkin, the Kapitan Metsaik and the Kapitan Bukaev provide support for vessels to the seaports of Astrakhan and Olya. Since the beginning of the winter navigation the icebreakers have provided support for 115 vessels.

The Magadan icebreaker provides support for vessels in the seaport of Magadan. Since the beginning of the winter navigation the icebreaker has provided support for 23 vessels.

The world’s largest FSUE “Rosmorport” diesel icebreaker fleet, including 35 icebreakers of different power, makes all-year-round access to Russian freezing seaports.
