On March 4, 2019, applications for the right to participate in the educational project "My port", which has been implemented since 2015 and is aimed at popularizing maritime professions and patriotic education of the younger generation, began to be accepted. The initiator of the project is FSUE “Rosmorport”.

According to the results of a serious competitive selection, crews will be recruited for the thematic shifts of the international children's center "Artek" and the All-Russian children's centers "Orlyonok" and "Okean" for "navigation" of 2019. It is planned to teach 184 children in maritime affairs, and this year the All-Russian children's center "Okean" will accept young sailors for the first time.

In total, 4 thematic shifts are planned in the project “My Port”.

The international children’s center “Artek” will receive 50 winners of the competition from August 7 to 28, 2019. The exciting program "Sea - Romance - Profession" is waiting for the children as part of the 9th thematic shift.

The 7th thematic shift will take place from June 23 to July 14, 2019 at the all-Russian children’s center “Orlyonok”. One hundred of the most deserving participants will be able to undergo training under the program of additional education "Sea is the vector of the future" according to the results of the competitive selection.

The All-Russian children's center “Okean” is ready to accept 34 winners of the competitive selection interested in acquiring new knowledge in the field of maritime and port activities in the 10th and 11th thematic shifts from July 18 to August 7 and from August 11 to August 31, 2019, respectively.

According to the rules for admitting children to the international children’s center “Artek” and the all-Russian children’s center “Orlyonok”, students in grades 5–11 are selected for participation in shifts, who will be 11–16 years old at the time of application. Children who have reached the age of 17 at the time of the shift are not accepted for participation in the competitive selection.

In case of victory in the competition, the participants, who will be 13-17 years old (10 shift) and 12-17 years old (11 shift) inclusive at the time of visiting the children's center, will be enrolled in the All-Russian children's center “Okean”.

Acceptance of applications for participation in the competition is open until April 19, 2019. Everyone who wants to participate should register on the competition website www.moyport.info/мойпорт.рф.

The names of the winners will be announced on the official website of the competitive selection at the end of April 2019.
