An annual international charitable futsal tournament “Rosmorrechflot III Cup” was held at the football arena of the Academy “F.F. Cherenkov Spartak” (Moscow) on March 16-17, 2019. The tournament took place with the support and participation of Rosmorrechflot, FSUE “Rosmorport” and the International Confederation of Water Transport Workers’ Trade Unions.

The event was held in support of children’s homes of the Moscow region and in order to develop corporate sports and promote healthy lifestyle in companies and at enterprises of the maritime and river industry.

The tournament involved 20 sportive teams of Russian key transport companies. Following the results of the group stage of the tournament the teams took part in gold, silver and bronze competitions. This year FSUE “Rosmorport” was represented by five teams of the branches, as well as the team of the central management.

Upon the heated competition in the group stage the teams of the FSUE “Rosmorport” central management, the Sakhalin, Astrakhan and Far Eastern Basin Branches made the silver playoffs. The teams of the Vanino and Crimean Branches took part in the bronze playoffs.

Unfortunately, our teams failed to hit the podium, but they demonstrated the will to win and showed team spirit.

Futsal player of the central management Mikhail Rymar was recognized the best front man of the tournament.
